Project plan and Time off get a few delightful enhancements
In the spirit of continuous improvement, our latest enhancements are all about making your Float experience more enjoyable, one small step at a time.
Visualize tentative phases in project plans
Quickly distinguish between tentative and confirmed phases on the Project plan with a new visual indicator. This update allows you to instantly see a phase’s status—either filled for confirmed or unfilled for tentative.
Note that with this change, confirmed phases can no longer be added to tentative projects.
Set your project status more easily
You can now set your status as tentative or confirmed when creating a new project. This is the first of several steps toward building a draft project status in Float, so you can fully scope out your projects before they go live. Keep your eyes peeled for updates in this space 👀
View unused leave balances from the Time off tab
Not sure if you have enough leave for that last-minute holiday you’re ready to book? Now, when logging time off in Float, you can see your current leave balance as you select the time off type, so you immediately know the exact amount of leave you have available.
Look out for a few small but substantial changes to how Float visualizes tentative phases, supports control over project status, shows your unused leave balance, and makes handling pending time off requests easier.
